South Wales Postcard Club
The South Wales Postcard Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30pm at Ararat — The Church on the Common in Whitchurch, Cardiff. The club does not meet in August. All are welcome, from seasoned collectors to those new to the hobby.
Meetings feature guest speakers on a wide range of topics from local history and photography to wartime postcards and art, as well as popular members' meetings where collectors bring and discuss cards on a set topic. The club also hosts a spring postcard fair at Llanishen Leisure Centre in Cardiff. Their newsletter, Cardtalk, keeps members informed about club activities and postcard-related news. Particularly appealing to those with an interest in Welsh local and family history.
